Interview Process: 2-3 interviews and technical assessment with the team + founders. Initial screening by VP of Engineering.
Day to day: Own a large slice of the product: design UI flows, build APIs, wire data and agents, ship small changes weekly, and watch the metrics. Balance deep work with in-person collaboration three days a week (whiteboards, design reviews, customer debriefs), and keep production healthy with observability, on-call participation, and steady quality improvements.
Team: Report to the Engineering Lead/CTO on a small, senior, high-ownership team. Partner daily with Product and closely with Sales/RevOps; lead design reviews, write RFCs, and make architecture/tooling decisions within your area while mentoring ICs. Cadence includes a daily stand-up and a weekly design/growth review.
Growth: Meaningful equity and the ability to shape platform architecture from day one. Clear paths to Principal Engineer or Tech Lead scope—owning major subsystems, setting reliability/latency/cost standards, mentoring others, and influencing hiring and technical direction.
