Responsibilities: Develop and oversee recruiting strategies, onboarding, and talent management, Implement HR policies, maintain compliance with employment laws, and manage HR documentation, Coordinate any payroll or benefits administration, plus performance reviews, Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives, Partner with leadership on organizational design, compensation strategy, and succession planning
Qualifications: 2+ years of HR generalist experience (preferably in a fast-paced environment), Familiarity with HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build relationships quickly, Experience with HRIS and recruiting tools is a plus, Passion for sustainability and willingness to adapt in a scrappy startup environment
