Senior Solutions Engineer – Integrations & AI Deployments

Responsibilities: Design and implement integrations across HCM, LMS, CRM, and related enterprise systems, Work with REST APIs, webhooks, data pipelines, and integration platforms (e.g., Workato), Ensure deployments are reliable, secure, scalable, and easy for customers to maintain, Act as technical lead for high-impact enterprise go-lives, Expand and harden Arist’s APIs to support repeatable, template-based integrations, Define integration patterns, tooling, documentation, and best practices, Reduce time-to-deployment through reusable frameworks, Partner with product and core engineering to influence roadmap decisions, Work directly with enterprise customers to deploy AI-powered needs analysis, Map required datasets and validate data quality, Design guardrails for AI outputs (accuracy, safety, compliance), Deliver implementations that feel native inside each organization

Qualifications: 6+ years of professional experience in Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles, Proven track record owning complex integrations end-to-end, Experience with APIs, webhooks, ETL/data pipelines, and integration platforms, Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth), and enterprise SaaS architectures, Experience with systems like HCM, LMS, CRM platforms, Familiarity with Rails is a plus (not required), Comfort working with AI/LLM-based systems, Strong communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders, Experience collaborating with product, engineering, sales, and customer success, Able to balance tactical execution with long-term scalability

Interview Process: Initial Call (30 min) – Founder conversation, Technical Deep Dive (60–75 min) – APIs, integrations, system design, Practical Exercise (60–90 min) – Design an Arist-style integration + AI deployment, Final Round (60–90 min) – Cross-functional conversations (Product, Sales, CS)

Day to day: Designing API integrations and data flows, Working in Workato or equivalent platforms, Running customer discovery calls, Debugging data inconsistencies, Building reusable templates and documentation, Partnering with product to refine integration and AI surfaces

Team: Reports directly to the Co-founder & Chief Product Officer, Partners closely with core engineering, product, sales, and customer success, Foundational member of the Solutions function

Growth: Phase 1 (0–6 months): Execute and streamline existing integrations. Identify bottlenecks and create reusable frameworks.Phase 2 (6–18 months): Own the full Solutions Engineering motion from pre-sale through go-live. Build and lead a small Solutions / Integration team. Become the technical face of complex enterprise deals.
