Responsibilities
- Operate & Oversee Production: Run and monitor thermoforming lines including machine setup, changeovers, and quality inspections.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve equipment or process issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvement initiatives to optimize cycle times and reduce waste.
- Training & Team Collaboration: Train and mentor operators on proper machine operation, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Safety & Quality Compliance: Ensure all operations meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards while maintaining a clean and organized production environment.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or on-the-job training in manufacturing is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in plastics manufacturing or thermoforming processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Nice to Have:
- College Degree
- Certifications such as Certified Production Technician (CPT) or OSHA 10/30-hour training.
- Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Prior experience in training or mentoring production staff.

- Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, ideally with thermoforming or plastics processing.
- Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, strong troubleshooting skills, and a keen eye for process improvements.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with solid communication skills to coordinate effectively with operators, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Safety & Quality Focus: Committed to upholding strict safety standards and delivering high-quality results.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to learn new processes quickly, and open to working varied shifts.
Must-Have Requirements
Candidate has to be within commutable distance - no relocation available Candidate needs to be willing and wanting to work the night shift role

Day to Day
- Operate production machines directly on the shop floor.
