Responsibilities: Core ResponsibilitiesWe’re looking for a founding Developer Relations Engineer to help make Linkup the most exciting AI company for developers.You’ll shape how developers discover, understand, and build with Linkup — creating demos, SDKs, content, and experiences that inspire builders and accelerate adoption.This is a hands-on, outward-facing role that combines engineering, storytelling, and community. You’ll work closely with our product, GTM, and marketing teams to build relationships, run events, and shape how developers experience Linkup — from local meetups to global hackathons.You’ll combine technical depth with creative communication — helping developers adopt Linkup through hands-on projects, public demos, and community engagement
Qualifications: Have 3+ years of relevant experience, working directly with developers in organizations/platforms that service them, Have strong engineering skills (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python) and a creative streak., Love shipping fast, creative, and beautifully polished projects., Are comfortable on stage — speaking, teaching, or demoing to live audiences., Know how to turn technical depth into compelling storytelling., Hands-on experience with APIs, LLMs, and DevTools., A track record of organizing meetups, workshops, or hackathons with measurable engagement or outcomes., Existing community connections in the Bay Area / New York that can accelerate developer outreach., A portfolio of demos, talks, or tutorials showcasing strong developer-facing communication., Prior open-source contributions or participation in active developer communities.

Team: Linkup has a team of 10 people, including the founders., The company is led by three co-founders covering product, technology, and business. The broader team includes ML engineers and software engineers. The team is mostly based in Paris, with plans to expand to the US., The team is senior, with most members bringing between 6 and 15+ years of experience. Backgrounds include companies such as Lyft, Spotify, and McKinsey, as well as other high-performing environments., Philippe Mizrahi leads product. He previously led the development of Lyft’s Autonomous Vehicles marketplace and earlier launched Amundsen, an open-source search engine., Denis Charrier leads technology as CTO. He was a founding engineer at Niland, an audio search company acquired by Spotify, and later served as a Staff Engineer at Spotify. He has 15 years of software development experience., Boris Toledano leads business and GTM as COO. He previously led robotics at Carrefour and spent three years at McKinsey & Co working on public affairs and digital transformation., Today, this function is shared between the founders and the first employee. The company is now hiring for this role. You’ll work closely with our product, GTM, and marketing teams to build relationships, run events, and shape how developers experience Linkup — from local meetups to global hackathons., This role reports to the COO.
Growth: Foundational ownership of marketing from day one: This is the first dedicated marketing hire, with full ownership over positioning, demand generation, brand, and growth experiments. You will define the marketing function from scratch., Fast path to leadership: Strong performance can lead to rapid progression into Head of Marketing with a full team for product marketing, content, ads etc., High strategic influence on GTM: You will work closely with the founders and sales team to shape go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for both AI-native teams and enterprise buyers., Scope expansion as the company scales: The role will naturally grow from hands-on execution to building and managing a marketing team (product marketing, content, performance, events) as hiring ramps., Long-term upside tied to company growth: As Linkup expands in the US and scales revenue, this role grows in responsibility, visibility, and impact across the company.
